Karta Initiative India: Education NGO in India

Who do we work with

Karta works with rural youth from underprivileged and marginalized communities (SC/ST, Tribals, Dalits, and some of the most ultra vulnerable communities like the Musahar - one of the Mahadalit communities in northern India), from government/public schooling system (Navodaya schools) and NGO run schools and youth groups from community based organizations from vulnerable backgrounds across a period of 5-8 years right from class XIth to their admission into premiere universities (various premiere universities in India, and abroad), till they get into well-meaning livelihoods. Karta supports youth in the two most difficult transitions along with a focus on both personal and societal values: a) school to university transition, and b) university to work transition.
